What we will ask of you:

As part of the Finance and Administration team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures timely, accurate processing for the Accounts Receivable functions in accordance with company policy and internal control requirements for local company and Irish subsidiary.

Accountabilities will include:

  • To understand the business and the various product offerings.
  • Responsible for the full cycle of Accounts Receivable including invoicing, cash receipts, collection and reconciliation of accounts from customers in over 70 countries.
  • Manage collection to achieve targeted days sales outstanding.
  • To provide assistance with analysis of Sales activities.
  • To assist with Accounts Payable functions as required.
  • To provide assistance with month-end closing duties.
  • To provide assistance to the Controller and/or CFO as required.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of full-cycle accounts payable work experience
  • 3rd or 4th year CGA student (or equivalent), newly designated or accounting certificate
  • 2 years experience with Great Plains software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Multi-currency and multi-location experience
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Team Player
  • Extremely detail oriented, methodical, diligent and organized
  • High energy and strong self-motivation to achieve results
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under time constraints
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

What we will ask of you:

As part of the Client Services / Professional Services team, the Financial Solutions Developer’s primary responsibility will be to design and implement custom workbook solutions for the FINCAD XL product using the underlying FINCAD math library and a combination of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic.  An in-depth understanding of the FINCAD XL product and the financial derivatives domain is key to success in this role.

Accountabilities will include:

  • Development of custom workbooks solutions as required
  • Interface with the Research and Development department for bug fixes and maintenance activities to existing workbooks.
  • Assist R & D with the design and implementation of product workbooks for the FINCAD XL product as time permits.
  • Through the development of workbooks solutions, assist Client Services efforts in the validation of the underlying analytics functions.
  • Provide detailed estimates for allocated work items. Regularly report progress on allocated work including issues that threaten the quality or timeliness of the work.
  • Participate in the continual improvement of the Professional Services processes and procedures implemented at FINCAD.
  • Assist Client Services group on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
  • Continually improve knowledge of the financial domain by reading books and attending seminars/courses.
  • Participate in the review of peers’ work.

Requirements:

  • University degree, diploma or certificate in business/finance, mathematics or computer science.
  • Proficient in the basic concepts of the financial derivatives market and in particular financial instrument valuations.
  • Good Communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Good planning and organizational abilities
  • Works well in pressure situations
  • Experienced user of standard business software including MS Excel and Word
  • Programming skills in Visual Basic and DDE an asset.
  • Familiarity with Excel and Visual Basic development.

As the product manager for FINCAD XL and FINCAD Developer, you will define product vision and requirements to meet the needs of customers and prospects based on market research, customer feedback and corporate strategy.

Accountabilities will include:

  • Maintain a 3 year product roadmap identifying new products, services, businesses, and markets consistent with FINCAD corporate strategy.
  • Perform market analysis to develop deep understanding of customers and their needs.
  • Clearly define customer and product requirements based on strategic planning.
  • Lead a cross functional team to implement the product strategy from inception to end of life.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree and relevant experience, including deep knowledge of financial industry and/or Over the Counter derivatives. MBA preferred.

  • Works well in pressure situations

As part of the Research and Development team, the Software Engineer responsibilities include

  • Design, documentation, implementation and troubleshooting software programs for the FINCAD Foundation Framework products using a modern C++ in a multi-platform environment (Windows/UNIX/Linux).
  • Detailed research and analysis of defined software engineering problems and prepares design proposals to reflect costs, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs.
  • Detailed estimates for allocated work items.
  • Follow the documented development process and participate in the continual improvement of the development processes and procedures implemented at FINCAD to improve the quality and efficiency of the department.

Requirements

  • More than 4 years experience in software development with detailed and current knowledge of C++ and Standard C++ Library
  • Experience with C++ Templates programming and Boost Library or TR1
  • Knowledge of Python would be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle with a commitment to acquire a high level of knowledge in the financial domain through self and assisted studies
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • University degree or recognized diploma in software engineering.
